Ever Bank Design

In 2023, TIAA underwent a transformation, becoming Ever Bank—an exciting juncture that allowed us to completely reimagine their brand. We embarked on a comprehensive redesign journey encompassing everything from logos to film, photography, and banking cards. Our design language aimed to mirror the essence of a high-performance bank tailored for hardworking individuals who achieve remarkable feats. We envisioned a unique banking experience—one that liberates from worry, hassle, and financial uncertainty, ensuring that each customer's money realizes its fullest potential. Ever Bank became synonymous with consistently providing unparalleled advantages for its valued customers.

At a time when confidence in banks was low, our task was to find a new name and design a premium lifestyle brand that could reestablish trust and showcase what life can be when you don’t have to worry about your financial performance partner. We returned to our roots with a name that has always been there: EverBank. We designed a brand using our hometown’s beaches and breezes as inspiration, from the colour palette collected from the tropics to the sound mnemonic based on the elements of nature.

We meticulously mapped out photography scenarios, encapsulating two distinct life narratives: GO and STOP. The GO scenarios depicted dedicated moments of hard work and perseverance within professional settings. Employing a blue spectrum, we rendered these scenes with a cool, refined treatment, evoking both performance and resilience. On the flip side, the STOP situations celebrated moments of joy and personal fulfillment. Presented in a warm yellow spectrum, these scenes exuded a natural, intimate ambiance, emphasizing accomplishment and cherished connections.

The motion design drew inspiration from nature, channeling the graceful movements of petals, backgrounds, and transitions. A fusion of 2D and 3D techniques struck the ideal equilibrium for animations, ensuring their effectiveness across various formats and media. Whether on social media platforms or in-branch screens, the motion design maintained a sophisticated and dynamic visual essence, delivering a consistent and captivating look-and-feel.

Two distinct films were produced to unveil the new brand and positioning. Through dynamic storytelling and editing, these films mirrored the dedication individuals invest in their lives and beckoned them to pause and relish everything Everbank offers. They both underscored performance while introducing a bank tailored for this lifestyle.
